The Brisbane Sporting Clays has been in existence since 1984 at this facility. Since its early days the club has grown into the facility you see today. The Club is a not for profit association run by its members to promote the club and sporting clays for the sole enjoyment of our sport.

The size of the targets, their speed and angles of flight are all variable, making sporting clays the most challenging and enjoyable Clay Target sport you can participate in.

Aspects of the natural terrain at the ground are fully utilised so that competitors are shooting amongst trees, rocks, uphill, downhill, incoming, outgoing and overhead.

From the myriad of different sizes and colours of clay targets available, ranging from the 120mm diameter standard clay target, down to the 60mm diameter mini.

We also throw other exotic targets, the Rabbit Clay that is designed roll across the ground (Although not always!) and the twisting flight of the Battue. All are shown at varying heights, trajectory and speed. Targets are also thrown as “single” targets and “doubles”. The “Doubles” are released either on “Report” (Second target is release at the sound of the gun being fired) or Simultaneous” (Both targets are released at the same time).
